| Amarillo; Amarillo™ Brand VGXP01 as descibed by Virgil Gamache Farms Inc. However it should be noted, after hours of research, I was unable to find any orgin for this hop. Virgil Gamache Farms claims discovery and introduction of this hop. No matter, this hop rocks! Of any hop I’ve worked with in my brewing career, this one is a true all purpose hop. With Alpha acids of 8-10 % and Loaded with beta resins, this hop makes a great Pale Ale used all thru the boil. Total Oil (Mls. per 100 grams): 1.5-1.9. Check out our “Amarillo Pale Ale” recipe. | ||
