First released for cultivation in 1978. Bred in 1968 from Brewers Gold and an open pollination, i.e. an unknown male plant, in the State of Idaho. Excellent high alpha acid hop with balanced bittering profiles paired with medium but pleasant hop aroma. It has an Alpha Acid range of 12-14%. It is mainly used for American ales and lagers, but suitable for all beer styles. |
