DCL SafAle US #56 American Ale
DCL Yeast has been a yeast producer for over 120 years. Established in Scotland in 1878, the company became the leading producer of fresh yeast in the UK market. The SafAle 56 American Ale Strain is the most famous ale yeast strain found across American. It's Probable origin is the Ballantine Brewing Company, 1840-1971, an independent regional brewery with a plant in Newark. Famous for the reputably excellent Ballantine IPA. Now available as a ready-to-pitch yeast. Produces well balanced beers with low diacetyl and a very clean, crisp end palate. It accentuates the hop flavors and is extremely versatile. Sedimentation is low to medium, and final gravity is medium.
