  Instructions:  
  Smack the Activator according to instructions on back of the yeast package. Put Grains in grain bag or muslin bags. Put 2 gallons of Filtered water along with Brew Salts in brew pot and heat to 160*F. Turn off heat and add grain bag. (Do not add grains to water above 165*F.) Let temperature rest down to 156*F, stirring grain bag gently from time to time. Leave pot uncovered during this time. After the wort has reached 156 degrees, stabilise and hold at 156*F for 25 minutes. Remove grain bag and let drain. Do Not Squeeze grain Bag! Rinse grains by slowly pouring 1 Cup of HOT tap water over top of grain bag. Discard grains. Add 1.5 gallon of water. Add Malt Extract and Rice Syup Solids bring to boil while gently stirring. Make note of the time in which your boil starts. Add 1/2 oz. of Magnum Hops. Make sure your boil is a calm boil. Do not boil too hard. After 30 minutes of boil, add another 1/2 oz. of Magnum Hops and the Irish Moss. Boil 25 more minutes. Add another 1/2 oz of Magnum Hops. Turn off heat and let steep for 5 minutes. Pour the wort into your fermenter on top of 3.5 gallons of very cold water. Cool wort to 80*F or colder and pitch yeast. Ferment 7-10 days at 66 - 72 degrees. You can also go from primary to secondary after 5 days and leave in secondary 6 days or until FG is 1.010 - 1.012. Bottle and cap bottles as normal. Store bottles for 7-21 days at room temperature, then chill bottles as needed and enjoy.
